Olympic race recovery training plan

Try this four-week plan to build up for an Olympic-distance triathlon, recover then train for the next one

In the new issue of 220 – 315, August – you will find the ‘Race, Recover… Race Faster’ feature, which explains how to race one event, recover, and then race even better at your next.

Below you will find the four-week training plan that corresponds with this feature. The plan sets out how to build-up to race one and then recover and train over three weeks leading up to race two, and is based on an Olympic-distance athlete, who trains 6-8hrs/week.
