Here’s a great, post-ride warm-up – a smooth, aromatic and creamy Turmeric and cinnamon hot chocolate. Curl up on the sofa and sip the goodness!
Ingredients
- 500ml coconut milk, milk or almond milk
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp ground turmeric or grated fresh turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch ground black pepper
- 1 tsp honey or sugar
- To serve
- 2 star anise and a little grated turmeric

Step 1
Blend the milk with the cocoa, spices, and pepper. Pour into a small saucepan and heat through until just boiling. Add honey or sugar to taste.

Pour into warmed mugs. Decorate with the star anise and turmeric. Feel the goodness with every sip!
More indulgent?
Add a pinch of chilli and cayenne pepper and a few cubes of 70% dark chocolate at step 1.
