What muscles does tricep dips work?
This exercise works the triceps, a large muscle on the back of the top half of your arm. There are three parts to the triceps; the medial, lateral and long head.

The biceps flexes the forearm whereas triceps extend extension of the elbow joint
What are the benefits of tricep dips?
This is another great swim strength exercise. Freestyle swimming works the triceps by forcing you to push against the water’s resistance as you use your arms to propel your body forward. This can be done on or off a machine.
How do you do tricep dips?
Place your hands on a block behind you, shoulder width apart, legs together and straightened out in front on you.
Lower your body down and bend your elbows so that your triceps are taking most of your body weight. Push up and repeat for 3 x 8 reps.
