Tri highs of Boardman 2014 range

A trio of tri highlights from this week's Boardman Elite Series launch in London

The 31st floor of London’s Centre Point played host to this year’s biggest tri bike launch yesterday, with the Brownlee brothers, 2012 Ironman World Champ Pete Jacobs and a certain Olympic legend from the Wirral all in attendance for the 2014 Boardman Elite Series launch.

The very first SLS, SLR and CXR models from the all-new 2014 Elite Series will be available during December, with further models being added early in the New Year and the AiR/TTE will be available in Spring 2014.

Our tri highlights, apart from Chris Boardman strongly hinting to 220 that he’ll be racing a tri in the near-future (full interview coming here soon), were this trio of tri bikes. We’ll be testing imminently, but here’s a bit of blurb and some key spec details…

The AiR/TTE/9.8 with Di2 Dura-Ace, £8,999.99. Boardman adds: ‘The AiR/TTE has been designed using the latest Computational Fluid Dynamics technology and wind tunnel testing, resulting in an incredibly fast, super aerodynamic frame platform which has a 5% increase over the Kona winning AiR/TT’.

TheAiR/TT/9.4 with Di2, £3,499.99

The AiR/TT/9.0 – £2,299.99
