Open-water swimming at Dartford

It's time to dust off the neoprene

Open-water swimming will be starting at the littlebrook Lake in Dartford on a Monday night at the end of April. Full details can be found on the Dartford Bridge Triathlon web site, www.bridgetriathlon.co.uk.

Swimming will start at 6.30pm on Monday and go on to dusk. You need to be a member of the BTF or a member of Dartford and White Oak Tri Club. Parking is in the Nucleus car park about 100m from the lake.

All the tests that have been done show that the water quality is exceptionally good.

If the swimming is popular, the team hope to expand it to other evenings and maybe some mornings.

There are also going to hold some training days at the lake in May and June before the Bridge Triathlon on the 27 June. Dates will be confirmed with in the next few weeks.

This will be FREE to any one that has entered the Bridge Triathlon.
