New open-water swimming venue opens in Leicestershire

Racetime Events wil be starting open-water swim training from Saturday 2 June at a new venue for the East Midlands.



The lake at Six Hills (Six Hills road, Six Hills, Leicstershire, LE14 3PR) is ideally situated for people from the Loughborough, Nottingham, Leicester, East Leake and Melton areas. The venue has good water quality, a clubhouse with changing/showering facilities and offers food and drink, a qualified lifeguard on duty at all times, rescue craft on standby and even a hot tub.



There will also be a range of wetsuits for sale which swimmers can trial in the water to ensure that they get the correct suit before buying.



Sessions will be Saturday 0730-0930 (starting 2 June) and Tuesday 1800-2000 (starting 12 June) with prices at £4 for adults and £2 for under 16s.
