BADtri introduces draft legal wave for Bristol City Centre Triathlon

The 2010 Bristol City Centre trial race now incorporates a Draft Legal wave for the pilot event on 22 August. This will enable the organisers to evaluate a draft legal course, in preparation for the first full event in 2011

The 2010 Bristol City Centre trial race now incorporates a Draft Legal wave for the pilot event on Sun 22 August 2010. This will enable the organisers to evaluate a draft legal course, in preparation for the first full event in 2011.

The draft legal wave is open to experienced age group athletes who can demonstrate good results within local or national races.

The course follows the same swim and bike routes as the main race, but with a different out and back run course. The draft legal wave will follow ITU guidelines, so bikes need to be draft legal specification.

To be considered, athletes can enter as normal at www.tribristol.org then email their entry number along with a brief résumé of their racing experience in triathlon and cycle racing to team@badtri.org

BADtri have also introduced a British Triathlon day license for the event. Previously competitors needed to be full members of the BTA.
