PureLime Seamless Bra Top

Not technically a sports bra, but an ideal option for low-impact, indoor sessions

PureLime Seamless Bra Top

Bust support is paramount for sport, regardless of your size or activity level. Personally, we’ve never got on with clasps, eyelets and all the other usual fitting paraphernalia that you find on normal everyday bras; we like them faff-free but still supportive. Which is why PureLime’s Seamless Bra Top has been our go-to undergarment support for several years now.

First of all, the key thing to note is PureLime don’t actually market this as a sports bra, but we find it ideal for low-impact activity – i.e strength and conditioning sessions, turbo workouts – as it has that next-to-skin feel but without compromising comfort or support.

Quality is top notch, our oldest set coming up to its three-year birthday shortly and yet it still retains fit and colour.

For high-impact sessions and actual races, we would always advise choosing an actual sports bra, especially if you’re well endowed, but for low-impact, indoor workouts during the off-season this is ideal.

Available in seven colours (Vista Blue, Electric Blue, Grape Juice, Neon Coral (pictured), Black, White and Charcoal) and in three sizes (we’re a 34B, and the S/M version fits like a glove).

About

220 deputy editor Liz Barrett started work on the magazine in 2007 as staff writer. Since then, she’s reported live from almost every major triathlon across the globe, including the Ironman World Championships, 70.3 Worlds, six ITU Worlds, Challenge Roth, the 2014 and 2022 Commonwealths, the London and Paris Olympics and the Rio Paralympics, to name but a few. Name a pro and chances are she’ll have interviewed them, so, unsurprisingly, she’s our go-to pro-athlete expert on the team. When not covering races, you’ll find her whipping words into finely-crafted shape for both the magazine and website.
