Fusion Multisport

Fusion may not be the first brand that springs to the minds of the masses, but boutique companies such as these are really driving the quality of tri products forward.

The Multisport is primarily focused on the long-distance athlete and has clearly been designed for comfort. A superb base fabric covers and supports the legs and back, and has a great combination of power and stretch.

There are a couple of minor irritations, though, such as the rear pocket design and its micro-fleece lining that has been added to reduce discomfort from gels – a problem we’d never even considered. But this comes at the cost of high levels of sweat collection in the lower back. We also felt that the mid-leg horizontal seam placement was unwise, given the potential for rubbing. But these are all minor oversights that become unnoticeable after time, and, overall, performance was solid.
