Perskindol Active Gel
Despite the ‘gel’ claim, we were more inclined to call this a lotion. Having said that, it was one of the thinnest lotions we’ve ever come across, and in use it behaves more like an oil, spreading out more quickly than you might expect.
Perskindol seems to be aimed at the muscle and joint rub end of the market, which intimates that it could be good for rubbing into joints and around thighs and calves in cold weather. It could also benefit people who get pain around the kneecaps when cycling in cold weather. That said, its ingredient list means there’s really no reason why you couldn’t use it for massage – it’s just not the product’s greatest strength.
A word of warning on application: be careful about getting this anywhere near any cuts or abrasions as it feels (and smells) like a mild form of Deep Heat – so it might sting a bit.
