Puma Infinitus

This shoe could fall into the lightweight category, but has enough cushioning for lighter runners to use it every day. The fit and feel of the upper is more like that of a track spike, with a relatively low-profile midsole and great forefoot responsiveness.

You can certainly run fast in it, so it’s surprising that the cushioning is protective enough for lighter runners to use on longer runs. The midsole may not have medial support but, as it’s shallow, neutral runners will find it stable.

Some may find that the low profile puts demands on the ankle, whereas others will enjoy the freedom it offers. Overall, a light shoe with a simple design, great fit and a smooth ride.
