Merrell All-Out Rush trail shoes – first look

Studded UniFly outsole and sturdy toe cap among the highlights

New from Merrell is the All Out Rush, with a studded UniFly outsole designed to tackle some of the grubbiest trails that winter can throw at you.

The All Out Rush features aesthetic similarities to Merrell’s 0mm drop Bare Access Trail range and also aims to promote a more natural stride, with the heel-to-toe drop being just 6mm.

Protection from rocks and rubble is provided by a toe cap and that heavy duty UniFly outsole, with the upper constructed with mesh and thermoplastic polyurethane in a bid to provide increased breathability.

Price: £95 from www.merrell.com. We’ll be testing them shortly – in the meantime, check out our round-up of this year’s best trail shoes, and guide to off-road running.
