Kate Milsom reviews Osprey's new women's hydration run vest

Osprey Dyna 6 hydration run vest review

Part of Osprey’s ‘born to run’ series of comfortable hydration solutions, the Dyna (women’s) and Duro (men’s) ranges specialise in optimising fit based on our different geometries.

In testing, we found that the light mesh material on the Dyna 6 sat comfortably on our chest, with the quick release, buckle-less clasps making for easy manoeuvring. The vest can fit extra layers and essentials within the 6L capacity; the three back pockets and stuff sack were handy, but we mainly used the stretchy, front easy-access pockets for the two 500ml soft flasks, the zip compartment being just large enough to fit a phone. Different to a running backpack, the vest does sit quite high, but we quickly got used to it and had no complaints in terms of functionality.

Verdict: stylish, fits like a glove even with layers, and easy to access on the fly, 90%
