Garmin Forerunner XT310

Very rarely do we come across a piece of technology that can perform to our highest expectations. With the XT310, Garmin has exceeded them.

This is a truly multifunctional device with a simple and completely reconfigurable interface. The extensive levels of functionality even allow a relative technophobe to be up and running (quite literally!) in no time.

It boasts a first-class GPS device, with water resistance to 50 metres and huge programmability, including the ability to capture transition times. In addition, the automatic downloading of data to the Garmin Connect database is idiot-proof and the full ANT+ compatibility provides flawless connectivity to the comfortable heart belt.

The XT310 really is an excellent triathlon companion. If only it was just a fraction smaller and the wetsuit wrestle wasn’t so significant, then this device would’ve achieved a perfect score.
