Madison D’Arcs Quad

Brand-conscious posers should look away now. Like the Bloc Stealths, you’re not going to don the Madison D’Arcs as a fashion statement. But the fashionistas would be missing out as you can’t fault what Madison has thrown into the package.

To kick things off you get four lenses: clear, dark, rose-coloured and a persimmon light-enhancing lens. You also get a spare nose bridge, a hard case and a soft carrying case/lens cloth. Fit is excellent, with the silicon nose pads and grippers on the arms holding the glasses firmly in place, despite considerable bumping and jarring.

The one-piece wraparound lens gave great protection and afforded great all-round vision. Unlike some of the more expensive glasses it even passed the aero tuck test. They did suffer from a bit of fogging up when you slowed but quickly cleared.
