JetBlack Xforce
Jetblack declare that they’re “proudly an Australian company” on their packaging. And, as the second Aussie offering on test and at the highly competitive budget end of the market, they’ve nailed it.
The opaque plastic frames won’t win any fashion awards but they’re far from ugly and have a certain retro cool factor about them. You get mirrored dark Revo lenses, yellow light-enhancing and clear. The Revo lens delivers both high sun glare reduction and good UV protection.
A semi-solid zipped carrying case should keep the glasses and the lenses safe, and although there’s no cleaning cloth, that’s not really such a big deal. Once on, the Jetblacks refused to budge despite our tester’s best efforts and kamikaze MTB descending.
All-round vision was as good as the one-piece lens glasses and there were no problems at all when down in the TT aero position.
