Giro Havik

The Haviks may not be the sexiest glasses but they do provide a strong and functional bike-specific option. They fit tightly and securely onto your head and face, providing complete coverage on the bike on even the most bone-shaking of surfaces. The lens extends upwards to the point where you can’t see the frame and the frame fits tightly up to your helmet, which we found reassuring.

The lens tint (brown) was also very good for both sunny and lower light days, and presented no issues when in a low aero position on the bike. When running the Haviks feel like they’re welded in place, but due to the high lens and tight fit on the forehead they can tend to mist up on warmer days.

All in all, these glasses are a strong, no-nonsense workhorse for bike and run.
