Mule Bar Eastern Express – first look

A curry flavoured energy bar? Yes please…

A curry flavoured energy bar?! Our weekends spent writing letters to Mule HQ have paid off!

Labelled as “an east-meets-west marriage of savoury and sweet, spice and intrigue”, by Mule, the Eastern Express is their first savoury energy bar.

Each 56g package consists of rice syrup, pistachios, almonds, cashews and pumpkin seeds, with the spicy notes provided by garam masala, cayenne pepper and nigella seeds.

In terms of nutritional content, one bar provides 265 calories, 22.5g of carbohydrates and 7.1g of protein. Providing we experience no toilet troubles, here’s hoping our sag aloo bar dreams come true soon…

Price: £7.99 for a pack of 5 from www.madison.co.uk.
