Kask Dieci

Great form, function and comfort

The Dieci is a second-tier helmet, sitting below the Vertigo in Italian manufacturer Kask’s range and saving you £35. At 297g it’s heavier helmets than some of its rivals, but those extra few grams are soon forgiven once you put it on.

The hinged Up-N-Down cradle system does exactly what it says and offers a massive amount of adjustment. The ratchet tightening is positive and easy to adjust, and although the rear supports aren’t padded they are non-slip and feel comfortable against your head.

The CoolMax padding is very plush, the imitation leather chin pad is an appreciated touch of luxury and contributes to this being one of the most comfortable helmets on test. This translates out onto the road where it’s stable, comfortable and the 19 vents keep your head perfectly cool.

It comes with a carry bag and, being 100% made in Italy, certainly looks the part, too.
