Selle San Marco Ladies Aspide Glamour

The Aspide Glamour Saddle is different from many other female-specific saddles on the market, in that it offers a very firm, flat surface (as lots of men’s saddles do) with a suitably wider profile. It seemed that this was a ‘love it or hate it’ factor with our testers – either they instantly got on with the shape and firmness, or they found it very uncompromising and uncomfortable.

It’s certainly more of a road racing than a time-trialling saddle, due to the rock-hard nose section, and weighs in very light at just 145g, with titanium rails that feature subtle markings to aid set-up.

The covering is a ‘Microfeel’ fabric that claims to be both breathable and hard-wearing, making it ideal for longer races and for training. The Aspide is available in either black or white.
