Easton EC90 Aero Handlebar & EC90 SL Stem – first look

Carbon creativity built for strength, but also pleasingly lightweight

Easton are masters of all things carbon, from wheels and components to shoe soles, like those of the Giro Prolight we tested recently.

You’ll find their glitzy bits of carbon creativity on bikes from the Tour de France to Kona, and topping their road range this year is this bar and stem combination.

The bars feature an aero top section and contoured grips, which you can see on the flat and the drops if you look carefully.

The stem, as its appearance suggests, is built for strength rather than to be ultimately lightweight, although it still tips the scales at a mere 110g.

Price: £219 (handlebar), £199 (stem) from www.silverfish-uk.com.
