Easton Attack TT

Easton Attack TT

Easton’s Attack TT is as minimalist as cockpits get and won’t suit everyone. If they fit, though, they’re the lightest bars here by a very long way.

The forward-curved, anhedrally drooped wings and dead-straight horns are all formed as one piece. Their ovoid profile also creates an entry point for externally mounted gear cables, and the wing is slotted for either external or internally routed brake levers.

All this integration means that, at just 444g, it’s one of the lightest bars we’ve tested. The deep extensions and robust wings feel absolutely rock solid in use, so big riders shouldn’t be put off by the super light weight.

The downsides are that it’s pretty narrow at 380mm and there’s a complete lack of adjustment. You can stick different pontoons under the small pads, and you can saw the extensions if they’re too long, but that’s it. Saying that, we didn’t have trouble finding a comfortable fit and the weight loss was worth it.
