The Glowbelt self-retracting LED safety belt

BMC Innovations have launched this piece of wearable safety technology that can be wrapped around a body, a backpack or a bike, offering a solid or flashing light.

Features include the self-retractable mechanism, which enables a one-size fits all, whilst also claiming to be visible from more than 200m away. The belt also only weighs in at 54 grams, and promises around 60 hours of usage.

This small, lightweight road safety device is meant to complement existing technologies for road safety making sure you are visible to everyone around you.
