Endura Infiniti bibshorts & Helios bike jersey

Superb, and reasonably priced considering the quality

The Infiniti bibshorts (£139.99) and Helios jersey (£79.99) are part of Endura’s top-end Equipe line. The shorts, which come in their own box with a pot of chamois cream and laundry bag, are constructed using only three panels of fabric, meaning there are very few seams.

The fit is superb: tight but comfortable, and leaving no room for extraneous movement. The strong grippers on the legs don’t ride up and even after several hours in the saddle they were still sitting perfectly on our distinct tan lines.

But the best part may well be the pad. It’s easily one of the best we’ve used and offers a huge amount of comfort without being too bulky – a combination much sought after, but rarely achieved. The jersey is ‘athletic race-fit cut’ so is tight but long at the back and comfortable against the skin.

Another well-crafted touch is the specific back pocket for wrappers that stops everything else you’re carrying getting sticky. Price-wise, neither are entry-level, but given the competition in the market, you’re definitely getting plenty of bang for your buck.
