DHB Windproof

DHB’s budget gloves are made with windproof softshell fabrics that shrug off most showers, and warmth is good considering the decent finger dexterity and control.

The fleece inner means they do this without feeling sweaty on the climbs and the liner is well anchored to stop it turning inside out when you take them off.

The long neoprene cuff creates a good wrist seal while big reflective twin stripes across the back help with signalling visibility. The synthetic palm is grippy, even on wet bar tape, and the fact they come in XXL is a nice touch for anyone with bigger paws.

The trouble is the gloves bunch around the front of the palm. You’ll get used to it but it makes for a clumsier feel than with other, admittedly more expensive, gloves.
