Supernova Airstream

Cooled using 20 airflow regulating fins on the body, this light is another piece of German precision engineering. The Airstream’s push button takes you through the four beam intensities in order, ranging from the maximum – using its entire 370 Lumen potential – to an adequate urban light that burns for up to 24hrs.

Beam spread is very good and it’s got a flashing mode, too. Mounting the light is quick and easy, with no separate battery unit to worry about. And although the rubber O-ring attachment may look inadequate, it survived an autumnal MTB battering without a wobble. It’s a versatile bit of kit and doubles up as a hand-held torch, which will come in handy if you ever have to do repairs in the dark.
