Exposure Axis

Small, perfectly-formed and ideal for night-time riding

As one of the market leaders in quality bike lights, you’re guaranteed a great product from Exposure – and the Axis is no exception.

With the no-tools O-ring mount it’ll add a minimal 102g to your bars, you can opt for the supplied helmet mount, or, if you fancy a bit of night running, you can get the optional headband too.

Charging is taken care of with a mains charger or, for sneaky at-work top-ups, a USB cable.

The full-power 550 lumens beam has a good far reaching spot, a decent even flood and a very impressive two-hour burn time.

The power button doubles as a clear fuel gauge and – inscribed on the UK-manufactured, waterproof CNC-machined aluminium body – is a handy crib sheet of burn times.

It’s not perfect, lacks side visibility (and the control button is a bit fiddly to operate with thick gloves on), but for its size, build quality, beam and burn time, we can let those gripes slide.
