Neyedli to leave Commerzbank

One of GB's finest long-course athletes is moving on

Britain’s Scott Neyedli is to leave Commerzbank triathlon team at the end of the year. The former winner of Ironman UK has had two seasons of inconsistent form and injury, which led to today’s decision by the Normann Stadler led team.

“We will miss him,” said team manager Jan Wendt. “Scott has improved extremely well in the last two years. He’s enriched the team with his fighting spirit and Scottish sense of humour.”

Neyedli originally raced for German team Dresdner Kleinwort in 2008, before the team changed sponsors this year.

In 2010, the Commerzbak team will consist of Stadler, Timo Bracht, Maik Tweisek, Marino Vanhoenacker, Mathias Hehcht, Jan Raphael and Markus Fachbach.
