New kayathlon launches in aid of charity

New multisport event to raise money for Help for Heroes charity

Retallack Adventure is hosting a Kayathlon in Cornwall on Remembrance Sunday (8 November) in support of Help for Heroes.

The event includes a 7.5-mile cycle, 5-mile kayak/canoe, a 5-mile run, and finished off with another 7.5-mile cycle. Competitors can bring their own equipment although kayaks/canoes can be hired from Camel Canoes based in Wadebridge, Cornwall.

Participants will be accommodated in five star luxury lodges based on eight people sharing for two nights, on a self-catering basis. Event entry is £90, which includes accommodation, and all participants are asked to raise a minimum donation of £50 for the Help for Heroes charity. At the end of the event there’s a prize giving ceremony followed by drinks, BBQ and a firework display.
