Zone 3 Aeroforce
New Brit brand Zone3 has stepped up to the pontoon with a tri-suit designed for the needs of top-end athletes. Using their patented Aeroforce material to help reduce water absorption during the swim, the tri-suit has Teflon coating to provide minimal resistance through the water.
The breathable material allows sweat and moisture to be removed from the skin efficiently and helps keep you cool. It’s also designed to reduce muscle fibre vibration. The neatly manufactured flat seams mean chafing is virtually non-existent, and the back zipper allows you to get enough ventilation on the run without the need to show any chest hair!
But be warned: the sizing of this suit is different to other garments in the Zone3 range, with the Aeroforce aimed at fitting an ‘elite athlete build’, meaning a medium fits a taller and slimmer athlete. Also, the suit we tried had no padding for the bike, but it’s available as an optional extra.
