The Big Pic: TrailX’s Easter fullX Off-Road Duathlon took place on 3 April with 62 eager athletes taking on the muddy, adventure course. Another MTB triathlon in the form of Xterra Rotorua saw a host of Kiwi locals brave the rain and mud. Meanwhile in London, the SLT Arena Games saw elite athletes and paratriathletes take on an innovative race format.

Arena Games Race Report: Super League Triathlon took over the London Aquatics Centre on 27 May for the 2021 Arena Games, which saw paratriathletes competing for the first time. 220’s Tim Heming was invited along to see how the games combined the use of smart trainers and real-life efforts in a paraise-worthy adaptation of the sport in the midst of the gobal Covid-19 pandemic.
