Camelbak Circuit hydration pack review
Pleasing looks and fine function – an excellent run buddy for off-road jaunts
Camelbak Circuit hydration pack review
While the idea might be scoffed at by tarmac-pounders, off-road runners and long-course triathletes realise the importance of going out prepared when training alone, and the Camelbak Circuit is akin to your own personal aid station.

Though aesthetics aren’t top priority for hydration systems, this one has a pleasing colourway. You can fit keys, bars, gels and extra bottles in with ease, and the straps tighten towards you for potential adjustment on the go.
The bladder holds a huge 1.5 litres of liquid; filled three quarters full we barely noticed the weight and, barring the slight rubbery taste, drinking from the tube was pleasant enough.
Bear in mind, though, that you need to fully release the tube from the clamps to get a good gulp, so drill the routine before you get too parched. We returned from the woods with minimal back sweat and feeling fresher (and less thirsty) than usual.
Verdict: A fine solution to bonking out on long runs, 88%
