Endurance Core

The prospect of enduring a whole DVD on core training might sound daunting, but this is great stuff. US coach Eric Schmitz manages to make strengthening your mid-section interesting by demonstrating loads of exercises you’ve probably never done before and adding plenty of variety throughout the workouts. Some sessions require no equipment; for others you’ll need a gym ball and dumbbells. The one thing they all have in common is that they use multiple planes of movement to produce functional fitness that’ll improve your tri performance rather than just give you beach muscles.

Complete beginners will gain a lot from this, but so will experienced athletes who need an injection of enthusiasm. If your idea of core training is a shed-load of sit-ups, you could use a copy.
