Suit Juice

Suit Juice would clearly be Captain Planet’s choice of lubricant: biodegradeable, fragrance free, hypoallergenic and containing no animal by-products. It’s even approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Consistency is quite thin but it comes in a neat pump-action bottle, which makes application much less messy than daubing it on by hand, and is the main selling point to separate it from the other lubes on test here.

Making it fragrance free means no-one will be put off by the scent and, according to their website, “it neutralises and eliminates uric acids and oils naturally caused by the human body.” Such acids will destroy latex and increase fading to neoprene.

It’s recommended by Aquaman, Blue Seventy and Zoot for use with their wetsuits. All in all, a good product in nifty packaging and ideal for a quick squirt pre-race.
