Endura FS260
Polypropylene has one of the lowest moisture regains of all modern and classic fibres, which is why the FS260 performed so well under sweaty conditions.
The polypropylene/nylon mix allows moisture to wick through the fabric and evaporate easily without leaving you in a cold, sodden top. As a standard medium the sizing felt a little out, though: the body was well sized but the arm and body lengths were a few centimetres too short, which was noticeable on the bike.
Endura have used a zoned approach to the body contouring and thermoregulation, which works nicely to provide a good, close fit. However, the flatlock stitching, which is employed to alleviate comfort issues, had a tendency to scratch, which dropped it a mark.
Overall, Endura have produced a good-quality and value-for-money base layer that will work well on both the bike and the run.
