Nike Air Zoom Elite +4

The Elite is a lightweight offering rather than an out-and-out racer. It has good guidance and support for overpronators with a softer strike zone at the heel, flex grooves, medial post and midfoot shank, which work well to guide your foot without giving harshness to the ride.

‘Crash pads’ offer adequate cushioning whether you’re landing on your heel or midfoot. And as you run faster there’s a good drive off the forefoot.

The overall fit and feel is great – gripping well on a variety of surfaces. There’s enough protection for lighter, faster runners to use the Elite as a trainer, while anyone taking their first steps into racing will find them versatile and responsive.
