Only 100 places left for Windsor
The 2013 Toshiba Windsor Triathlon has only 100 places remaining
This year’s crop of entrants truly demonstrate the Olympic legacy in action, with a significant proportion having signed up since being inspired by the fantastic result for Great Britain in the London Olympics.
With entries filling fast the competitor stories are already beginning to come to the surface. 36-year old Nick Whelan, for whom the Toshiba Windsor Triathlon is his first, commented that he was “inspired by the Olympics to get out there and try something different”.
Londoners, Erim Covac and Alison Turner have also been watching what has been achieved in their home-town over the last month, and have been so inspired that they will be trying something completely new in 2013.
As always the Toshiba Windsor Triathlon provides a great platform for people to raise much needed funds for a range of charities, as well as achieve their personal goals and overcoming perceived barriers. Kate Rawley, who will be making the long trek from Scotland for the event commented, “I lost over 65lbs in weight over the last year and can now realise my ambition of doing Windsor”.
The 2013 Toshiba Windsor Triathlon will be held on 16 June 2013.
