Zoggs Myal Up Sonic Back
It’s hard to get excited about this suit: it looks a little dowdy and there’s no denying it’s just a plain and simple cossie.
It’s part of Zoggs’ fitness range, so isn’t aimed at the top-level performance swimmer; rather it’s for those who enjoy going for a swim every now and then. Hence, it isn’t ideal for those putting in a lot of mileage week after week.
It’s made from elastomax rather than Zoggs’ top-of-the-range chlorine-proof fabric, but is still four times more resistant to chlorine than standard swimwear. It’s fully lined around the chest, so has an agreeable feel against the skin, and has firm, supportive straps.
The design of the straps offers good support to the shoulders, chest and back, but it’s still a far cry from the racer-back design. And you know this isn’t a performance suit purely from the generous amount of fabric.
It has a fairly low-cut leg that, although it might be a preference for some, in many ways only serves to add to this suit’s already dowdy look. On the plus side, it dries quickly and copes well when exposed to the sun.
