Cannondale Pack-Me Shell

This Cannondale bike jacket is a polyester shell which provides some wind resistance and moderate protection from the occasional shower. It includes underarm mesh vents to help manage temperature and moisture.

In fact, the garment performed as you’d expect from a water-resistant, semi-windproof shell. However, its main selling point is the weight – it packs down into its rear pocket to virtually nothing, making it suitable for changing conditions.

Sadly, where it mattered – on the bike – the fit was mightily disappointing, with all testers complaining about severe pulling underneath the arms. This prevented us getting into a crouched position.

The shoulder panel also restricted movement when running. The sizes seem to be on the small side, so we recommend purchasing a size larger – but try before you buy.
