Briko Nitrospeed

Describe a set of ‘classic’ cycling glasses and you’d probably come close to describing this set from Briko. The Nitrospeeds are extremely lightweight, with unobstructed peripheral vision from the minimal frame, which also permits good ventilation without too much eye-watering even at high speeds. They grab on tightly with their rubberised side arms and bridge, and don’t shift at all during running.
They come with two lenses, a dark bronze one providing only 5% light transmission and a nearly clear one at 80%. Both are excellent quality and span the spectrum of most conditions you’ll encounter.
They also come with a padded spacer that attaches to the brow to reduce airflow and increase face contact. This, however, does considerably reduce visibility in the aero position.
