Stadler has heart surgery

Normann Stadler's season is over

Double Ironman Hawaii champion Normann has undergone heart surgery at Heidelberg University, Germany.

A failing heart valve and a nearby aortic aneurysm were repaired.

According to his surgeon, Professor Matthias Karck, and the triathlete’s family, surgery went well and Stadler is on his way to a full recovery.

Good luck to Normann on his recovery.
