Joe Friel and Jim Vance are presenting in London this April

Tri Dynamic is delighted to be bringing coaching legend and author of The Triathlete’s Training Bible, Joe Friel and TrainingBible Elite Coach & 8.37 Ironman PRO triathlete Jim Vance to the UK in April for two exclusive coaching seminars. They will take place at Sigma Sport’s new flagship store in Kingston upon Thames.



Joe Friel’s seminar will be ‘The 5 Most Important Rules for Better Racing’.



Jim Vance’s topic will be ‘Understanding &Training with Power’.



The seminars will take place on Sunday 17th April 2011 from 4:30pm-8:45pm. There will be a limited number of seats available.



As this is one of the few times Joe Friel & Jim Vance will be in the UK this year it is advisable to book early.



The talk is aimed at triathletes, cyclists and runners, who can all gain from Joe Friel’s & Jim Vance’s experience and knowledge. There will be two talks on the evening. You can either choose to attend one or both.

Jim Vance Seminar: ‘Understanding and Training with Power’

Time: 4:30pm-6:00pm

Description: TrainingBible Elite Coach Jim Vance is a former 8.37 IM PRO and finished 3rd at IM Florida in 2006. He will present concepts in using power meters and power data for training. He will cover everything from the basics of defining what power is mathematically, to how the data is best used in training periodization and planning. He will present power files from cyclists, triathletes and mountain bikers, starting with basic concepts to more advanced analysis, for the true technology-focused athletes. A full Q&A will follow. This is a great way to take the next step in your training.



Joe Friel Seminar: ‘The 5 Most Important Rules for Better Racing’

Description: Joe Friel’s 5 Most Important Rules for Better Racing are the principles he uses in coaching serious athletes. They have been developed and refined over 30 years of coaching with athletes from novice to Olympian. If you have high goals for your 2011 season you’ll come away with many new ideas on how to make them happen. Joe’s purpose in this seminar is to help you grow as an athlete and have your best races ever. Nothing will be held back. There are no secrets. You’ll learn more about achieving athletic success in a couple of hours than you learned in the last couple of years. If you’re serious about your sport then this is an opportunity you can’t miss.

Swim Seminars with TrainingBible Elite Coach Jim Vance at Hampton Pool SAT 16th APR

And if you fancy improving your swimming technique before the season kicks off Jim Vance will be holding two swim seminars including video analysis at Hampton Pool on SAT 16th April. This clinic is designed for swimmers, triathletes and coaches, as an opportunity to learn and understand the principles of triathlon swimming and apply this directly to athletes. You don’t have to be Michael Phelps to come along! Everyone can benefit from this type of analysis. There are two choices for attending the clinic. One is full-service with information directly for the participating athlete, who would like to be videoed in the water. The other is for athletes or coaches who are not interested in getting in the water and have footage taken of them swimming but desire to learn the principles of triathlon swimming and how to apply them to athletes.

There will be 2 sessions to choose from on Saturday 16th April.
