It’s still a few weeks until Black Friday, but I’ve already found some unbelievable deals
There are hundreds of scorching hot Black Friday deals already available for triathletes – and to save you searching, I've listed them here
Black Friday is a fantastic chance to get your swim, bike and run kit for less every year. Many brands are launching their deals early though – and here are some scorching hot ones I’ve found already.
Black Friday falls on Friday 29th November this year. However waiting until then to grab your bargains could see you missing out on some of the best deals, as some brands have already kicked off their sales.
The likes of Huub, Argos, Currys and John Lewis already have hundreds of deals to choose from. While these might not seem the most obvious retails for tri kit (Huub excepted!) they’re definitely worth a look if you are keen to upgrade your sports watch, running headphones or other tech.
I’ve taken a look and picked out all of the best Black Friday deals available now and will update this page with even more offers throughout the event over the next few weeks.
Closer to 29th November, check back here for more. It’s worth keeping an eye on your favourite brands too – or those which you visit often for frequently-replaced items like running shoes. Amazon will undoubtedly have a wide range of competitive deals across sports and tech, too.
I would expect to see deals from other leading tri and swim brands such as Zone3, Orca and Zoggs closer to the date. Big run brands including Nike, Hoka One One, Adidas and Decathlon would be expected to have some good site-wide deals, too.

Huub Brownlee Agilis wetsuit
Designed alongside Ali and Jonny Brownlee (and you don’t get much better than that in tri) the Agilis is a superb wetsuit. I’ve tested this one before and chose it when I swum the length of Coniston in 2022. If you’re going to attempt over 9km of swimming, I figured you’d better do it in a wetsuit that will help you!
The Agilis combines flexibility through the arms and shoulders with support through the core and lift through the legs to keep you perfectly balanced in the water.
Here, the men’s suit is on offer at a whopping 53% discount, coming down from £749.99 to £349.99. You can read our full review of the suit here.
Garmin Fenix 7 Pro Sapphire Solar
The new Fenix 8 might be available and bagging all the headlines now, but this powerhouse of a multisport watch is still well worth a look in previous versions.
I found the Fenix 7 at John Lewis reduced from £739 to £469.99 which is a saving of over £250. It’s the Solar version too, which includes solar charging to improve battery life, plus it’s the Sapphire spec which gives you a scratch-resistant screen.
The Fenix has more features and health monitoring than you can shake a stick at, plus this is the mid-size 47mm version which will suit most athletes. You can read a longer review here.
Huub Aphotic Goggles
Back to Huub’s big Black Friday sale for another triathlon classic – the Aphotic goggles. Huub have reduced these by 50% making them £24.99 rather than £49.99, which is an absolute steal.
The Aphotics are a larger open-water goggle which is comfortable and feels secure on the face. I’ve used these for years, especially in races where conditions might change. Why? The lenses change colour with changes in light levels, making them perfect for swims where you could encounter both cloud or strong sunshine.
The Huub Aphotics are included in my guide to the best swimming goggles for pool and open-water, which you can find here.
Garmin Forerunner 255S
This time it’s good old Argos that has a deal worth looking at if you’re in the market for a new Garmin. Here I’ve chosen one of the Forerunner models which while less blingy than the Fenix, packs a whole lot of tech into a smaller, lighter package and at a much lower price point.
Here the watch has £80 off, making it £219 rather than £299. That ‘s’ stands for ‘small’ here and at 41mm wide it is suited to smaller wrists. It’s got full mutisport options though and a bright AMOLED screen, making it feel much more luxe than the price tag would suggest.
The Forerunner range is my go-to and I’ve tried several models, however the review here is courtesy of Rob Slade, one of 220’s most experienced gear testers.
There will be plenty more deals over the coming days and weeks, so keep coming back here to find them.
Plus, it’s worth doing your research ahead of the week of 29th November so you know exactly what you want to buy. Here at 220 we have a huge amount of product reviews and group tests online that you can access: I’ve listed just a few here.
