The GE Parc Bryn Bach Triathlon, the finale of the British Triathlon Super Series, will be broadcast this Sunday 3 September on Channel 4 at 7.30am. ?

The programme will highlight the impressive victories of local favourite Helen Jenkins and the Brownlee brothers, alongside the crowing of overall Super Series Champions, Tim Don and Jodie Stimpson.?

Jodie was delighted to claim the top step on the podium of the Super Series for the second consecutive year, commenting after the race: “It’s great to win the 2010 British Triathlon Super Series and defend my title from last year. It would have been better obviously to have got a win in Parc Bryn Bach but when you’re racing Helen (Jenkins) it’s going to be a hard day. ?

“The races across the Super Series have been great; I missed a couple of races so I had to perform well today. But, it all came together throughout the day which was great.” ?

Tim was also thrilled after the event with his first ever Super Series win: “I’ve never won the Super Series before, so it’s really nice to have won. The key thing for me this year has just been consistency in everything, training and racing, so to win a series you’ve got to be consistent. ?

“I was a bit unlucky last week in Budapest, I would have liked to have been more competitive today but my hip has been pretty sore so it was more survival than actual racing. But I had a great time out there, it’s a great event here and the sun is coming out so overall I’m really chuffed.”
