New run course for Roth

For the first time in its history, the Challenge Roth run course will head straight through the city centre as part of the celebrations marking Roth’s 950th anniversary.



The marathon course for the ninth edition of the long-course triathlon will lead right through the old town of Roth, bringing athletes and spectators closer together on the run and giving runners a chance to really soak up the atmosphere in town.



The change can be carried forward into future years, integrating the race with downtown activities and shops. Athletes will exit the city forest a little sooner with the new design, turning about 250 meters after the Eckersmuehlen canal bridge. A new “hot spot” for families and a new beer mile will also be created along the course.
