Jaggad One

The One tri-suit is the latest offering from Jaggad, an Australian company currently making great strides in the UK via online behemoths Wiggle.

Made from lightweight TricoTech fabric, the garment boasts good-sized padding where you need it that, at the same time, doesn’t soak up litres of water or get in the way for running.

Attention has clearly been paid to design with flat stitching, material protection around the front zip to prevent rubbing and two rear mesh pockets. There’s also the welcome option of a ‘Grip removable chamois’ (sold separately) that makes the padding closer to that of cycle shorts.

Instead of the standard leg gripper, this suit is held firm with elastic strips on the outside of the suit. This may increase water drag slightly but that’s vastly outweighed by the reduction in discomfort of traditional leg grippers.

The suit is also shaped to fit comfortably between the shoulder blades, although this style may not suit everyone.
